Heart of Food Membership Involvement

There are several ways in which you can get involved with our growing mobile food industry here in West Michigan. Heart of Food seeks to bring together all aspects of the local community because when we stand together we are strong.

Food Trucks/Trailers/Carts & Tents – $280

If you have an existing mobile food business and are looking to join a local collective community. This is the membership level for you. Being a member gets you listed on our website and app under our directory. So, whenever someone is searching for a food truck, they will be able to find a comprehensive list of food trucks they could book. This is the first of its kind in our area. Additionally, you will get free access to any of the food truck classes and meetings that we hold in the off season. Plus, members get 10% off vendor fees for events that we are partnering with. Membership does not guarantee your acceptance, but it does get you a discount. Currently we are partnered with Food Truck Fridays & GR Pride Festival.

New Members – $75

If you are looking to get started in the mobile food business, either with a food truck, cart, trailer or tent operation. Joining Heart of Food is the perfect way to save you hundreds of dollars as you get going. Many beginners tend to make avoidable and expensive errors. Being a member of Heart of Food gives you access to our members and directors that have years of experience in the mobile food industry. You also can get great discounts on any mobile food classes that we offer in the off season. As well as being able to take part in classes designed just for you.

Local Businesses – $100

If you are a local business and would like to help support the growing mobile food community this is your chance. Maybe your business would benefit from food trucks as clients or are looking for a way to get your name out there. We can help promote your business through our classes, website & app. We can also help spread information about your business to all our members.

Nonprofits – $50

Community is the name of the game, so we love supporting and being a part of other nonprofit organizations that share a similar goal. If you are a nonprofit organization interested in partnering with Heart of Food, please let us know.
If you are hosting an event and would like to partner with us to help feature our members let us know. For every Heart of Food member that you accept into your event and give a 10% discount on their vendor fee. Heart of Food will in turn then donate 15% back to your organization. (i.e. $100 vendor fee. 10% discount – Heart of Food Member pays $90. Heart of Food will then donate $15 to your organization on behalf of that member.)
